On PEGIDA – Interview with Christoph Strässer, Human Rights Commissioner for the German Government (Video)

For the first part of our ventures into video and audio formats, GPPW Co-Director Moritz Borchardt was able to briefly talk with Christoph Strässer about the German PEGIDA movement and its implications. Mr. Strässer  is the Commissioner for Human Rights Policy and Humanitarian Aid for the German Government.

The interview took place during Mr. Strässer’s visit and roundtable at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy in Erfurt, Germany on February 13th 2015. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Strässer for the interview – and the Willy Brandt School for providing us with the opportunity for it.

We have to appoligize for the change in quality during the interview due to technical difficulties (the battery of the main camera died) and background noise by students and staff of the Willy Brandt School after the initial roundtable.
